VIDEO EDITING

Video editing is like putting together a puzzle, but with moving pieces. You have to take all of the different shots you've captured and arrange them in a way that tells a story. You have to think about the pacing, the rhythm, and the overall mood of the piece. And you have to make sure that the story is clear and concise. As a Black filmmaker, I see video editing as an opportunity to share my unique perspective with the world. It's a way to tell stories that haven't been told before, and to challenge stereotypes about Black + Brown people - as well as other marginalized communities.

I've edited a wide range of content, from documentaries to music videos to commercials. And in every case, I've tried to create something that is both visually stunning and emotionally resonant. Check out a few of my favorite edits below!
