Animation + Motion Design

Animation is the art of bringing still images to life. It's a process that takes storytelling, creativity, and technical skills to create the illusion of movement. I'm passionate about using animation to tell stories, engage audiences, and create visually stunning experiences. There are various different types and styles of animation - my experience is primarily motion graphics, although I do have some 3D, stop-motion and frame by frame experience.

• 2D animation: (also called frame-by-frame animation) This is the traditional type of animation, where drawings are created on paper or on a computer and then sequenced to create the illusion of movement.

• 3D animation: 3D animation uses computer software to create three-dimensional objects and environments. This type of animation can be used to create realistic or fantastical worlds, and is often used in movies, TV shows, and video games.

• Motion graphics: Motion graphics is a type of animation that uses text, images, and graphics to create moving images. Motion graphics is often used in commercials, explainer videos, and other types of marketing materials.

• Stop-motion animation: Stop-motion animation involves taking pictures of still objects, such as clay puppets or model sets, and then sequencing them to create the illusion of movement. Stop-motion animation is a time-consuming process, but it can be used to create incredibly detailed and creative films.
